Jakarta, June 16, 2023 – HSS proudly announces the allocation of IDR 15 billion for the HSS 3 boxing event, which will take place in three cities in Indonesia: Bali, Bandung, and Jakarta.
As a sport with relatively few competitive events, HSS is committed to attract more people to this sport and provide high-quality competitions. HSS hopes that participants can demonstrate their skills and develop their full potential.
“With an extraordinary funding of IDR 15 billion, our mission is to deliver matches that not only captivate the audience and also provide a platform for boxers to showcase their exceptional talent and compete on the HSS stage,” explained Ivan Tanjaya, one of the HSS promoters.
Hotman Paris, the commissioner of HSS by HW Group, expressed the same sentiment. “The IDR 15 billion allocated for the HSS boxing event is an incredible investment in the development of boxing in Indonesia. Through this competition, we can see the great potential that Indonesian boxers possess and provide them with opportunities to shine on the international stage.”
Furthermore, HSS 3 can also be considered a boxing event that dares to pay boxers the highest price. This is done to improve the welfare of the participating boxers, from facilitating their health before the match to providing accommodations during the competition.
Minister of Youth and Sports, Dito Ariotedjo, appreciates the presence of HSS 3 as a boxing competition event that focuses on the well-being of boxers and promotes healthy matches.
“The Ministry of Youth and Sports welcomes and supports HSS 3 as a boxing competition combining entertainment and creativity. Boxing has been dormant for a long time, and initiatives like this is important because it can reignite the spirit of the younger generation to advance the world of boxing in Indonesia. I am confident that HSS can boost the boxing ecosystem in Indonesia. I hope HSS will continue in the coming years,” said Dito Ariotedjo, Minister of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Indonesia, during his attendance at the HSS 3 press conference at the Ministry of Youth and Sports building on Friday (June 16).
HSS 3 is open to participants from all walks of life, from the general public to amateur boxers. Participants can submit a 30-second to 1-minute boxing training video on their Instagram feed or reels to participate.
Participants are required to use the hashtags #HSS, #HSS2023, #HWSPORTSHOW, and #NEVERSTOPFLYING, as well as tag the account of the person they want to fight and tag the @hwsportshow account on Instagram.
Similar as the previous editions, HSS 3 will feature exciting and entertaining matches involving well-known Indonesian artists and influencers.
“With the HSS event, we hope to advance boxing in Indonesia and create opportunities for local boxers to fight in the ring. We are very excited and ready to deliver thrilling and entertaining matches,” said Armin Tan, another HSS promoter.
