Bali, September 14 2023 – Atlas Beach Club proudly presents an exciting addition to its entertainment lineup. As the world’s largest beach club, it now hosts regular performances of the Kecak Dance for its visitors.
The Kecak Dance is synonymous with Bali, as it originated and developed on this island. It depicts the story of Ramayana, a part of Bali’s Hindu culture, and is often performed at various cultural and tourist locations across Bali.
This makes the Kecak Dance a symbol of the preservation and promotion of Balinese culture on a national and international level, making it one of the most famous dances representing the island’s cultural richness.
However, the Kecak Dance is rarely showcased in the Canggu area. This marks Atlas as the first venue in Canggu to offer an extraordinary cultural experience to visitors of the world’s largest beach club.
In this Kecak Dance performance, the audience will be mesmerized by the dynamic and magical movements of the dancers, accompanied by the distinctive vocalizations of “cak-cak-cak” that characterize this dance.
In addition to the Kecak Dance, Atlas also presents a breathtaking Fire Dance, where visitors will be astonished by the dancers’ skillful manipulation of fire. This Fire Dance is a dynamic display of talent and artistry that will captivate the audience.
“We are thrilled to bring the beauty of Balinese culture to Atlas Beach Club visitors,” said Ben Leek, Director of Operations at Atlas. “The Kecak Dance and Fire Dance are not just performances; they are an integral part of Bali that cannot be separated. We are proud to be the first in Canggu to showcase these incredible performances while introducing Balinese culture to our visitors.”
The Kecak Dance and Fire Dance performances are available to all Atlas guests at no additional cost. Visitors can enjoy these performances on the following days:
