Bandung, August 28 2023 – HW Group reaffirms its commitment to social responsibility through the HW Peduli initiative. In August, HW Peduli enthusiastically conducted a series of positive and impactful activities in several cities across Java Island.
In its effort to bring benefit and joy to the community, HW Peduli organized diverse activities in Surabaya on August 12-13, 2023, in Semarang and Yogyakarta on August 20, 2023, and in Bandung on August 28, 2023.
In each city, various activities such as healthy exercise sessions, free reflexology massages, and coloring contests for children were conducted. These activities aim to promote the community’s well-being and provide meaningful entertainment.
A major highlight of these activities was the showcase of traditional and local cultural performances, including dances like Remo and the Sparkling Surabaya creation dance, as well as other cultural art displays. This marks HW Peduli’s concrete step in preserving and promoting Indonesia’s artistic and cultural heritage among the younger generation.
“At HW Peduli, our focus is beyond assisting; we also aim to preserve and promote Indonesian arts and culture. We hope that our activities will have a tangible positive impact on communities in every city,” stated Kharis, a HW Peduli CSR team representative.
Apart from organizing cultural art events, HW Peduli also extended assistance in the form of relevant and beneficial items such as trash bins, religious musical instruments, laptops, and printers for community secretariats. Additionally, health check tools and digital weight scales were provided for infants and toddlers to improve the quality of life for residents.
